Oxford10 Christmas Party 2008

Oxford10 Christmas Party 2008

On Saturday 6 December 2008, Oxford10, the new programme for young alumni of Oxford, was launched.

250 young alumni and friends made their way to Tower Bridge, London, to party on the two famous Walkways suspended above the River Thames.

Guests were welcomed with $100 notes and fizzy cocktails as they entered the Walkways and admired the view. The bars were open and the food and drink began to flow. After a short introduction by

Nancy Kenny, Director of Alumni Relations, and Tarun Gupta, President of Oxford10, the casino tables opened, and the stakes were raised.

Sophie Sandner managed to beat the House, finishing her game of poker with more money than the croupier, and was rewarded with a bottle of champagne.

By 10.30pm guests began to make their way to Prohibition for the After Party, collecting half price cocktail tickets and free wine (if they were quick).
