Do you know:

Non-alcoholic drinks have been around for a decade!
Non-alcoholic beer has its origins in the Prohibition era when breweries needed to adapt to restrictions on alcohol production. They developed methods to brew beer with minimal alcohol content, giving birth to the non-alcoholic beer we know today.

Non-alcoholic drinks come with health benefits!

Non-alcoholic beer has gained popularity among athletes as a post-workout recovery drink. Its isotonic properties, along with vitamins and minerals, can aid in rehydration and replenishing glycogen stores without the intoxicating effects of alcohol. While non-alcoholic wine retains many of the health benefits associated with traditional wine, such as antioxidants and polyphenols derived from grape.

Non-alcoholic drinks are trending!

Non-alcoholic beverages are the forerunner of innovation of the F&B industry. With the rise of mindful drinking movements, it’s one of the fastest growing markets.

Net Zero Talk and Post Event Drinks

When: Tue, 19 March 2024, 9 PM onwards
Where: Serata Hall, 207 Old St, London EC1V 9NR
Get your tickets here

About this Event:
The University of Oxford Alumni Office is organising an in person networking event to learn more about the Net Zero Tracker which aims to increase transparency and accountability of net zero targets.

The Tracker aims to increase transparency and accountability of net zero targets pledged by nations, states and regions, cities and companies. Built on collaboration and people power, the Net Zero Tracker relies on a team of student, and now alumni, volunteers to collect publicly available data that indicates the integrity of these targets.

In addition to learning how Oxford Net Zero are helping businesses and policymakers achieve their net zero goals, hear from Client Earth, one of the world’s most ambitious environmental organisations, about how they are using the law to hold companies to account. Our discussion will cover the topics of net zero targets and their integrity; fossil fuel removal; deforestation and how nature links to net zero.

You’ll have the chance to put your questions to the panel, network with alumni over drinks and pizza, and hopefully sign up as a Net Zero Tracker volunteer!

Post the event, join Oxford10 and other young alumni at Serata Hall (5 mins walk from the talk) to continue the conversation over cocktails and discuss how you can get involved!
